Our thicker heat reflective 0.5mm heat shield is a more rigid and easy to shape, fold and form to your exact requirements. Heat Barriers are used widely in the OEM markets, our aluminium barrier heat shield sheeting can be used to protect bulkheads, steering racks, exhaust systems, fuel cells, master cylinders and more! Being able to withstand a direct constant temperature of up to 1000°C, and reflect away up to 70% of Radiant heat transfer, this sheeting serves as a strong versatile barrier for sensitive areas, dramatically increasing their lifespan and reliability.
Our Aluminium Heat Shield is a firm favourite amongst our motorsport and drift fan base, due to its heat insulation material working so well against high heat loads caused by exhaust systems and engine bay protection. Some tuners even use this heat shield to deflect heat by building a turbo shield heat lagging system.

Our metal heat shield Sheets can easily be cut, shaped, drilled and fastened to your exact requirements.
NB. Larger sheets may be folded to aid shipping and packaging requirements. This does not damage the integrity of the product.

Used this to cover the underside of my chassis above turbos and exhaust. Thick enough to do a good job but still easy to form to shape by hand (or with a hammer if you want to make it tight to any curves or ridges)

Got this to solve a problem with excessive heat from my exhaust on my motorbike as it is a high level exhaust and is in close proximity to my leg when riding. Relatively easy to cut and shape to fit to the rear of the existing heat shields and on the first ride out after fitting the heat has reduced. Might try a second layer to see if I can make any further improvements. Thanks Funk!
